FA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA 2013

This was our Cotton Candy Christmas:)  Santa surprised us with a big, pink cotton candy machine, and we have had a lot of fun with it.  Waking up to Cotton candy in the christmas tree and in the stockings was the workings of elves...super magical:)  There is nothing better than a quiet...well..(not-so quiet with our girls) Christmas at home:)  I loved the reaction to the Brave movie, seriously priceless.

Limbo

This snow girl stayed up for weeks!!  It was awesome...she was straight at one point and slowly arched back over time.  I have never seen a snowman defy gravity like ours did.  We put up the limbo stick thinking it wouldn't last long-we were wrong, and were able to bring a smile to many faces this cold winter:)

Joy School Christmas

Bria LOVES Joy School!  I cannot believe how much she has grown in this last year and has blossomed into this little social butterfly.  She was always so scared of people, I am glad we decided to have her do pre-school before kindergarten.  It has really helped.  There are not many girls her age, so most of her best friends are boys...she doesn't seem to mind that boys are always calling to see if she can play...I on the other hand, am a little nervous for what the future will hold...

Some of Christmas

The girls were so funny this Christmas-they really didn't know what to ask for.  Allie said, "I don't know".  Bria said, "um...a Barbie" (They have at least 20 already)  and Cloe said, "A brush".  So....we had a pretty good time trying to figure out what to get these silly girls:)  They were so gracious and grateful about Christmas it made me proud to be the mom of such sweet girls.   This was the first year they ALL sat on Santa's lap...big mile-stone for us.

Trouble

Haha:)  I found this picture I felt like it was a good representation of what these girls are usually up to.  First thing in the morning....PJs on...playing in the pile of dirt we got to do some landscaping with this fall.  They are usually getting along best, when they are getting into trouble.  True Story

Candy Shop Wars

My little brother Matt got his 10 minute of fame when he was selected to play "Nate" in a book trailer promoting Brandon Mull's new book the Candy Shop Wars.  As part of the promotion they had a big Marshmallow war with the actors of the trailer along with Brandon being the "targets".  We met up with my parents in SLC to be a part of the craziness.

Newspaper Rock 10 K

Old Post...Seriously Old...but I wanted documentation of this stuff.  My friend Mindy and I both finishing our first 10K together.  She coached me along and we ended up coming in 3rd place for our age group.  Well, at least we both crossed at the same time-they gave the prize to her (which she deserved because I wouldn't have made it without her)  It was a little lizard plaque that she offered joint custody for, but I politely declined:)  I had run 6 miles straight before...but it never gets easier.
