Soakin' up the Summer

A perfect day spent at the pool, feeding ducks by the pond and playing at the park.  The girls and I have had a great summer- I know these days together don't last forever...better enjoy them while we can.  I love being a mom...except on laundry day...then I whine like a baby.

Sweet Times

The girls got a cotton candy machine for Christmas and are using it to earn money for Disneyland.  They have made some sweet cash this summer:)  We wanted to do something as a family that will help the girls learn to work for the things that they want.  So far we are so glad we chose this route.  It has been a lot of fun...besides, who doesn't like cotton candy?

Summer Tradition

We have a tradition of having my little brother Matt stay with us for part of the summer (a traditon I LOVE!)  When it is time for him to go home we stay in a hotel and meet my parents at Lagoon for a day of fun together.

Millions of cartoons on, and my girls pick a documentary on Africa....I think they are warped.

Eating at Toucanos Brazillian Grill; one of our favorites for Tyler's B-Day.  This trip always falls on his birthday weekend:)

Cloe's 4th Big Day

My baby just turned 4!  I guess I can't call her a baby anymore, but I am not sure if I am ready to grasp the idea of having all school-age kids.  She will start pre-school this school year!  Then again...being out of diapers, having a whole two hours to myself two days a week, and everyone being able to put shoes on themselves is pretty nice...:)  Maybe I can get use to it.  We are grateful Cloe surprised us by joining our family four years ago, we sure love her!

Little Slugger Bria

Bria did T-ball for the first time this year- she was so cute:)  she would hit the ball very accurately and very delicately...such a girl.  Haha-I forget how little she is until she is next to other kids her age, but she sure can hold her own.

Father's Day

My girl's have the best Dad in the world...seriously...other little girls would be jelous if they only knew how much he spoils these little chicas.  He loves his girls and we love him!  The girls were asked to sing in church for father's day and they did such an awesome job!

Ten Happy Years

For our Ten year Annivesary we decided to go back to the place where we first met...Jacob Lake, AZ!  Tyler and I worked there in 2002 after I had graduated from highscool and after his mission to Brazil.  I was not looking for a serious relationship, and he had a girlfriend...haha:)  Things worked out and the rest is history.

Laying down on the outdoor basketball courts where we went star-gazing for the first time....and yes we were really looking at the stars...:O

Sitting at the counter to a delicious breakfast...we spent alot of hours at this counter ten years ago.

Hiking in the Grand Canyon is where we spent our first day-off together.  It was much harder than I rememebered it being!

I love this man!  I am grateful every day for the Lord's hand in my life.  He has always gently lead  me to the places I needed to be, and I know Jacob Lake was one of them.  Tyler is the best husband and Father!  I am looking forward to another 10+ years with him.

Bria's Preschool Graduation

Our sweet, funny, Bria graduated from Mrs. Eardley's Joy School.  She is so ready for kindergarten!  I am glad we decided on preschool for her. She came out of her shell and has so much confidence now.
