Another Blog

So...I've decided this should be called "bragging" and not "blogging". That's what we are aren't we? Braggers, not bloggers:) I'm kidding, I know I might be a little blog happy, but my friend Caroline was the inspiration for the creation of a new blog. I'm calling it Words of Widom. I decided to post poems, quotes and stories to share with everyone. I'd love feedback and comments, and even some of your own stuff to share. I love exchanging stuff like this, even more than recipes! That says alot, I know. You can find Words of Wisdom at the bottom of this page in my "Hit List".

Time Out!

For once, this time out didn't apply to Allie. I got to go to a Time out for Women and girls in Reno this weekend. It was so awesome! We had seats right next to the presenters, which included John Bytheway, Ardeth Kapp, Carmen Rassumssen, Jenny Jordan Frogly and more! The music was great, and the messages were even better. My personal favorite was Ardeth Kapp, she was the former general young women's president from 84-92. She implemented the young women's theme and values and has accomplished so many other wonderful things in her life. I had to hug her when it was all over. Now that I'm serving with the Young Women it really hit home for me. Standing and saying that theme every Sunday, it had such an affect on my life growing up, and now as I teach these girls the values...I just can't say what a blessing it is.

A Grandparent's visit!

My Grandpa Miller and my step Grandma Marie stopped in Winnemucca for a visit. It was so great to see them. Allie had Grandpa wrapped around her finger I think.

Financial Liason for pediatric Dental Removal

OK I was the tooth fairy for our stake enrichment night. We played Hollywood Squares and I was one of the "stars", good times.

Directions

You can get to Weekly Meal Options by scrolling down to my "hit list" and find it there. Sorry if it's confusing. I know some of you are new to this whole blogging deal. You can also find it on my dashboard.

Up and Running

Alright- I think the Weekly Meal Option Blog is ready for a looksee. Copy and paste it into a word document for yourself, and make whatever changes you want to it. This makes a good template for you to customize for your family.

Scratch the Link

Ok, the link idea wasn't flying, so I decided to create a blog for it instead. I need to "fix" it a bit. It isn't really user friendly yet. I hope it makes since.

Ladies...Start your Ovens!

I'm posting my Weekly Meal Options as a link. Some of you might have it, I sent it out to a few people a while agoe. I decided to make it more public, I've had some criticism for not trying to publish it or charge people for it, but I get a lot of great ideas from other people for free, so why not pass on some of mine for a similar fee. It really does save on time and money, and takes the guesss work out of dinner time. ENJOY!

The Music

I just thought I'd write a quick note about the seemingly random music I have chosen for the blog. Every song has a story behind it. For example; 'Earth Angel' and 'Unchained Melody' were my grandparent's songs. 'Can't Help Falling in Love' is Tyler and I's (although not the same version, ours is the Jon Schmidt version but I couldn't find it.) Obviously 'Mandy' is the song my parents named me after. I love music, all kinds, and I love how many memories can be attached to a song. Hopefully you enjoy!
